Who We Are
Crown Digital Marketing Agency, operating as Crown Marketing and legally organized as Crown Marketing, LLC, is a web development and digital marketing company. Our office is at 1069 Parkington Ave, Henderson, NV 89012, and we serve clients across the Las Vegas Valley and nationwide.
This policy applies to crownmarketinginc.com and to the marketing, design and development services we provide. It explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and what you can do about it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, request a free audit, apply for a job, subscribe to something, call us or email us, we collect what you choose to send. That usually includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address and whatever you write in the message field. If you apply for a position, it also includes your resume and the details in your application.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the site, our servers and our analytics tools record technical details about the visit. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, how long you stay and the approximate city or region your network resolves to. We do not collect precise GPS location from your device.
Information from comments and uploads
If you leave a comment, we collect the data in the comment form along with your IP address and browser user agent string, which helps us catch spam. An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service so your profile picture can display. If you upload an image to the site, be aware that image files can carry embedded location data, and other visitors may be able to download that file and read it.
How We Use Your Information
We use what we collect to do the following:
- Answer your question, return your call and send you the audit, proposal or information you asked for
- Deliver the services you hired us for and communicate with you while we do it
- Send invoices, process payments through our payment processor and keep accurate business records
- Understand how the site is performing so we can improve the pages people actually use
- Measure which marketing channels bring in real inquiries, so we do not waste our own budget or yours
- Review job applications and contact candidates
- Send marketing emails or texts when you have asked us to, and stop when you ask us to stop
- Protect the site from spam, fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.
Cookies And Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. We use them for a few different jobs.
- Necessary cookies keep the site working. WordPress sets these to manage sessions and, if you leave a comment, to remember your name and email so you do not retype them. Comment cookies last about one year.
- Security cookies support Google reCAPTCHA, which we use on forms to block automated spam submissions.
- Analytics cookies tell us how the site is used in aggregate. These are described in the next section.
- Advertising cookies let us measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who have visited the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site may stop working correctly. Most browsers also support a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so our site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one.
Analytics, Advertising And Remarketing
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. It records pages viewed, session length, traffic source, device type and approximate location, and it sets cookies to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. The data is processed by Google and is governed by Google’s own privacy terms. You can opt out across every site that uses it by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage the tracking tags described here. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information, it controls which other tools run.
Google Ads and remarketing
We advertise our own services. When you visit the site, advertising cookies may be set so that we can measure which ads lead to real inquiries and so we can show our ads to you again on other sites in Google’s network. This is called remarketing. It does not tell us who you are, and we never receive your name or contact details from it.
You can control this directly. Google’s Ads Settings page lets you turn off personalized advertising, and the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative both run opt-out pages that cover many advertising vendors at once.
Reviews widget
We display our Google reviews through a third party widget. It loads content from that provider, which means the provider can see that your browser requested it.
Phone Calls And Text Messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry, your project or your account. If you opt in to marketing texts, we may also send promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
You can stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can get help by replying HELP. Opting out of marketing texts does not stop transactional messages about work we are actively doing for you.
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Information may still be shared with the service providers that help us deliver the messages, and those providers are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.
How We Share Information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that host our site, send our email, process our payments, run our analytics and advertising, deliver our text messages and manage our CRM. They may only use the data to do the job we hired them for.
- At your direction. If you ask us to set something up with a third party on your behalf, such as a Google Business Profile or an ad account, we share what that task requires.
- Legal reasons. If we are required to by law, subpoena or valid government request, or where we need to protect our rights, our clients or someone’s safety.
- Business transfer. If the company is sold or merged, information would move with it, and this policy would continue to apply until it was replaced.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising in exchange for money or anything of value.
Client Data We Process
This section is different from everything above. It is not about data we collect from visitors to our own site, it is about data that belongs to our clients.
When we build, host, maintain or market a client’s website, we get access to systems that hold that client’s data. That can include their form submissions, their customer lists, their analytics accounts, their ad accounts and their CRM records. In that relationship we act on the client’s instructions, not on our own behalf.
We use client data only to perform the services in our agreement with that client. We do not use it to market our own services, we do not combine it with data from other clients and we do not sell it. Access is limited to the people on our team who need it for the work. When an engagement ends, we return or remove our access on request, subject to any records we are required to keep.
If you are a customer of one of our clients and you want to exercise privacy rights over your data, contact that business directly. They control the data, and we will support their response.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Form submissions and inquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to follow up or to show what was agreed, and then removed. Client project records, contracts and invoices are kept for the length of the engagement and for the period our accountants and the applicable tax rules require afterward. Job applications are kept so we can consider you for future openings, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow up comments can be recognized and approved automatically. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We use reputable hosting, keep WordPress and its plugins updated, run a security plugin, require strong authentication on our administrative accounts and limit internal access to the people who need it. Forms are protected with Google reCAPTCHA to reduce automated abuse.
No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Nevada law and any other law that applies.
Your Privacy Rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to do the following, and we will not treat you differently for asking:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Send you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, subject to records we are legally required to keep
- Stop sending you marketing email or text messages
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and why, the right to access and delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law, and we do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Nevada residents
Nevada law gives residents the right to tell a website operator not to sell their covered information. We do not sell covered information. If you would like that instruction on file anyway, send it to us using the contact details below and we will record it.
How to submit a request
Email info@crownmarketinginc.com with the subject line Privacy Request, or call 702.703.1549. Tell us what you want us to do and give us enough detail to find your records. We will verify that the request is really coming from you, usually by confirming details we already hold, and we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are sold to businesses, and the site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third Party Links And Embedded Content
Pages on this site link to other websites and include embedded content such as videos, maps and review widgets. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other site. Those providers may collect data about you, use cookies, embed their own tracking and monitor your interaction with their content, including if you have an account and are logged in to their service. We do not control what they do, and their privacy policies govern, not ours.
Changes To This Policy
We update this policy when our practices, our tools or the law change. When we do, we revise the Last Updated date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site rather than expecting you to notice a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
