He had almost no web presence, so we built a site that sells and ranks
Sun Valley Landscaping is a family owned landscaper serving Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas, run by Victor Rivera Sr. and Victor Rivera Jr. with more than 20 years in the trade. When they came to us in spring 2025, they had almost no web presence. Two decades of finished yards and happy customers, and almost none of it was online for a homeowner, or Google, to find.
We built the full site in six weeks and launched it in May 2025, with a page for every service and the technical SEO done properly from day one. In its first 90 days of Search Console data the site appeared in 214 different searches. In the most recent 90 days it appeared in 775, and search impressions are up 119 percent. This case study shows what changed, and is honest about what has not changed yet.
Where he started, spring 2025
Almost no web presence. No service pages, no service area pages, no way to request an estimate online, and next to nothing for Google to rank. In the first 90 days of Search Console data after launch, the new site appeared in 214 different searches at an average position of 59.8, which is page six.
Search impressions: up 119 percent
Impressions went from 6,863 in the first 90 days to 15,028 in the most recent 90, or from 76 a day to 167 a day. At the peak in May 2026 the site was shown 8,438 times in a single month, 3.7 times its July 2025 level.
Searches the site appears for: 214 to 775
Google now shows the site for 3.6 times as many different searches, and the number of pages earning impressions grew from 26 to 43. Average ranking improved by 12.7 positions, from 59.8 to 47.1, and the best stretch, February to April 2026, averaged position 37.
The competitive terms are on the board
In the first 90 days, landscaping las vegas, landscaping in las vegas and landscapers las vegas did not show up in the top queries at all. They now bring impressions every month. Brand search moved too: sun valley landscaping went from position 33 to 20, and sun valley llc averages position 4.6.
The blog is pulling its weight
Two seasonal articles, on protecting plants during winter cold snaps and on why October is the perfect month for planting, reached positions 8.3 and 11.6, page one and the top of page two. They earn clicks at about four times the site average click through rate.
Why clicks have not grown yet
Clicks have held steady at roughly 13 to 31 a month, and the most recent 90 days had fewer clicks (51) than the first 90 (65). Most of the new impressions come from rankings on pages three to seven, where people see the listing but rarely click. We could have left that out. Instead it is the next job: moving the core terms from page three onto page one, which is where the calls come from.
