The challenge
Their site was built and hosted on a system called Softrip. Softrip needed them off it and onto a stand alone site, which meant a tour operator with a full catalog had to move house without losing the booking engine the business runs on. The timing was not theirs to choose, and everything customers rely on, tour browsing, pricing and availability, had to keep working on the other side of the move.
What we built
We completely reimagined Celtic Tours and designed them a modern, effective site, then did the harder half: coding it back into Softrip so tours, pricing and bookings still flow through the system they run on. It is a large multi page travel site with tour browsing and filtering, a brochure library and a set of tools for travel agents, all under a full rebrand. Ten weeks from first design to launch.
The outcome
A stunning rebrand and increased traffic across every measure. Just as important, they no longer depend on Softrip for the site, so they own their own website now. They can change it when they want, on their own schedule, and the booking integration keeps running underneath either way.
Todd and his team went above and beyond in designing our website and integrating it into our booking system. The process was smooth, and the design is beautiful. They have also continually supported and maintained the website without fail. It is a pleasure working with him and his team.
